A Note from the FMS Administrative Team
FMS Families,
This newsletter has a lot of important information about upcoming events, student achievements, and key dates to remember. We encourage you to take a few minutes to read through it and discover all the wonderful things happening in our school community. Together, we can create a successful and enriching learning experience for all our students.
Stay informed with our Daily Announcements, created by Mr. Rumbo's talented 8th Grade Publications Class. Visit our school website for the latest updates.
To make your child's check-in and check-out process as efficient as possible, we kindly request that you have the barcode image from the Focus app ready when visiting the school. This will significantly speed up the process. Please remember to also have your photo ID with you. Thank you for your cooperation.
As a friendly reminder, outside food is permitted only for birthdays, as previously communicated. Thank you for your cooperation.
Teams are starting to plan Field Trips, if you are interested in volunteering you will need to complete the paperwork in order to attend. Please see below under Wentzville School District Volunteer Forms.
Sincerely,
Dr. Kathryn Greer, Principal
Mr. Eric Eubank, Assistant Principal (Sixth Grade)
Mr. Kevin Kuehl, Assistant Principal (Seventh Grade)
Mr. Adam Bender, Assistant Principal (Eighth Grade)
We understand that drop-off and pick-up at FMS can sometimes take time.
For the safety of all students, please DO NOT:
- Drop off or pick up students in the school parking lot.
- Drop off students on Highway DD by the stoplight.
- Perform U-turns in the front of the FMS parking lot.
If you are concerned about your student arriving to school on time, please plan to arrive earlier.
Student safety is our top priority.
In addition, FMS receives feedback frequently from the Sommerlin HOA regarding student drop-offs in the neighborhood. To ensure a smooth and safe morning routine for everyone, please drop off your student directly on the FMS campus. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Please take a few minutes and review FMS Traffic procedures.
iReady Incentive -- Donations Needed!
Student testing plays a crucial role in assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and providing valuable data to inform our instructional practices.
With your generous donation, we can motivate and incentivize our students. Your contribution will directly support:
- Diagnostic assessments: These assessments help to pinpoint specific learning challenges and guide targeted interventions.
- Progress monitoring assessments: These assessments allow us to track student progress over time and make adjustments to our instruction as needed.
Please use this link to donate!
Thank you for your continued support of our school community.
