SCHEDULE CHANGES

Please be sure to check the Team Calendar on the website as there have been a number of schedule changes!

* 9th grade AT South Forsyth has been moved to WEDNESDAY AUGUST 21st at 6pm.

* JV game VS South Forsyth scheduled for Thursday August 22nd has been CANCELLED (SF does not have a JV team this season.

* Varsity game AWAY AT River Ridge scheduled for Friday August 23rd has been moved to THURSDAY AUGUST 22nd at 7:30pm

* JV game VS Central Forsyth scheduled for Thursday October 3rd has been CANCELLED (Central does not have a JV team this season.)

FALL FUNDRAISER - EMAIL CAMPAIGN

Thank you to all those that have participated in our 2nd fundraiser for the season. We have raised over $21,000 and are well on our way to reaching our goal of $30,0000!

The Snap!Raise fundraising platform will help us raise money to support our program with little effort. Simply upload 20+ email addresses and share the fundraiser on social media and text messages.

Attached you'll find a flyer with specifics (athletes brought this home as well). Once you have downloaded the app, or logged in through the online platform, you will create an account and upload your 20+ emails.

This fundraiser is a great opportunity for family and friends to support your athlete, and Denmark Football, through a secure online donation. NO donation is too small!

We expect 100% of our athletes participate and enter 20+ email addresses.

ATTENTION GRIDIRON CLUB MEMBERS

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the first tailgate of the season! It was a hot one, but the food and company were great! We will tailgate again this Friday August 16th before the game. This week Ron & Gina Brenk will be providing pulled pork for the tailgate and Gridiron Club members will be asked to bring sides to share. Please sign up on the Team Calendar to bring a dish to share.

We will begin setting up at 5:00pm, please have food to the tent by 5:30pm. This week we will be adding an extra tent for additional shade. If anyone else has a tent they can bring, please do so! Please be sure to bring chairs.

We will begin breaking down the tent about 6:50p so that everyone can get into the stadium before the game begins.

Our next tailgate will be September 6th (Senior Night) and will be a Taco Bar theme!

We're excited to partner with Cherry Street Brewing for the 2024-2025 season. Following all (local) Varsity football games, grab your family and friends and join us for light food and comradery. Cherry Street is offering Denmark Football fans a late-night, limited menu and a discount on all food purchases. We can't wait to start this new tradition!

POST GAME REMINDERS

Please be sure to remind your athletes if they join the team at Cherry Street, or go elsewhere, that they are representing the Denmark community, and their behavior should reflect positively on the team and school. This includes making sure to pay their bills and tip their servers!

If you are still missing items from your spirit store order, please contact BSN directly by calling 877.211.7264 with your order number.

FARM UPDATE

Please help us get the Farm started this fall for the athletes by purchasing an item or two from the Amazon wishlist and it will be delivered directly to the school. You can also purchase these items elsewhere and send them in with your athlete.
