Hillside Families:

Our Field Day/Fun Day will take place May 22. The times for the grade levels are:

9:00-10:30am 3rd and 4th grades

10:40-12:10am 5th and 6th grades

1:30-3:00pm. Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades

Our Field Day/Fun Day will be over at Creighton Prep. If you would like to volunteer to help with this special day, please click the link below:

May 16 - 3:00pm - Mrs. Ecklebe's Retirement Party in the Cafeteria

May 16 - Spirit Day (wear spiritwear or orange and blue)

May 21 - 10:15am (TIME CHANGE) - ROCKETS for 6th grade (Hillside tradition) outside at Hillside

May 22 - Field Day/Fun Day at Creighton Prep field (see flyer below for times)

May 23 - NOON Dismissal - Last Day of School

For clarification regarding the district policy re: being at school:

It is important to note that our district now requires a background check (courtesy of Westside) in order for you to join your student in the company of other students. This includes having lunch at school, and we want you to know that we are balancing a welcoming environment with a safe environment!

If you wish to come to school to have lunch with your child, you are welcome to do so. If you do not wish to (or have not yet had) a background check, please plan to join your child only at an available empty table OR at an available picnic table out front. Please do not invite other children to join you if you have not yet had a background check.

If you wish to have a background check, please touch the button below. Once that is completed and we have the results in our office, you are welcome to join your child at the lunch table. We will keep a list of those with a background check on file in our front office.

Please know that we have no control over how long it may take for a background check to be completed! We are doing the very best we can to comply with our district requirements. If your background check results have not returned, and you would like to attend an event, please call the front desk at 402-390-6451 for options! Thank you.
