From the Principal's Heart to Yours
Dear Hartman Families,
As we reflect on the school year so far, we want to take a moment to share just how thankful we are for your continued support. Whether you joined the PTA, donated to our APEX Fun Run, or gave your time in any capacity—you have made a lasting impact on our school community.
Thanks to your generosity, we were able to purchase a thermal plastic playground surface, new recess equipment, science materials, and a sound system for our gymnasium. These additions have greatly enriched our students' experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
We also want to thank you for the snacks, meals, and thoughtful gestures that may seem small, but mean so much. They are truly a blessing to our Hartman family and a reminder of the strong partnership between home and school.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Jill Ebeling
Principal
We want to ensure a smooth and safe dismissal process for all of our car riders. First through sixth-grade students who are car riders will be waiting in the gym and will be called to a specific numbered spot when their ride arrives. They will walk to that number and wait for their car to pull up.
To help keep the line moving efficiently, it is very important that all drivers pull all the way forward, even if you see your child walking out to a number farther back. This allows us to load multiple students quickly and keeps the process running smoothly for everyone.
Please also be aware that on rainy days, students may get wet as they walk out to their designated number. If you are concerned about your students getting wet as they walk to the pick-up spot, we encourage families to send students to school with umbrellas. All pick-up spots will have a teacher holding an umbrella for students to stand under.
As always, your support and cooperation help us keep all students safe and ensure a quick dismissal for everyone. Thank you for your help!
Attention Sixth Grade Parents
Several emails have been sent out regarding vaccination requirements for sixth-grade students. We must have your child’s updated vaccination record for middle school. Failure to provide updated records will result in your child's middle school schedule being withheld. You may send the record to school with your child or email Nurse Beth: Beth.Young@rockwallisd.org.
