π Message from the Principal π
It's hard to believe, but we made it to the last week before Spring Break! That means there are only 4 weeks left in this grading period as the next Progress Report comes out on April 25th. Before you know it, this semester will be over and we'll be hosting the Promotion ceremony for 8th graders...wow!
Vikings, as we head into our much-needed two-week Spring Break, I encourage everyone to take this time to rest, recharge, and reconnect with family and friends. Step away from the screensβdonβt let doom-scrolling on social media consume your break! Instead, get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the beauty around you. Whether itβs a walk in the park, a bike ride, or just soaking up the sun, movement and nature are great ways to refresh your mind and body. And if you need to catch up on any schoolwork, set aside a little time to get it done so you can return feeling confident and ready to finish the school year strong. Enjoy your break, and weβll see you soon!
Let's make it a great week, Vikings!! π
Don't forget Spring Break starts next week!
πΌ Bravo to our Orchestra students!! π΅
This past Saturday, our orchestra students performed at the SUHSD Stringfest!! It was great seeing them work together with other musicians across the district to put on a wonderful performance! Great job, Vikings! We are proud of you!!
Congratulations to our 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year, Ms. Hinojosa!!
Earlier this year, Ms. Eva Hinojosa, Math Education Specialist, was nominated by students and staff for the amazing job she does to support our students. Teachers then voted for the final winner, making Ms. Hinojosa's this year's Teacher of the Year!! We are so excited to honor her this Wednesday at the district's Teacher of the Year ceremony at Olympian High! We are so lucky to have you as a part of our MVA Staff, Ms. Hinojosa!!
