You Belong Here -- We are Ferg-Flor! All students in K-12th grade will wear school uniforms for the 2024-25 school year. In June 2023, the Ferguson-Florissant School District Board of Education approved gradually introducing a school uniform policy. For the 2023-24 school year, the policy was implemented for students in grades K-5. For the 2024-25 school year, the uniform policy will extend to include all students from kindergarten through 12th grade. STEAM Middle/STEAM High have different uniform requirements.
Some schools have selected red, blue, navy, light blue, gray, or white as their school color polo. All families, please check with your child's school for specific uniform options and school colors.
McCluer Alum Gives Back
McCluer grad De'Marco Poole gives back and is doing great things. He recently completed his apprenticeship with IBEW Local 1 and is now a Journeyman Electrician with Paynecrest Electric. He is mentored by another McCluer graduate, David Payne. He spends time giving back and sharing about the electrical trades industry with younger students. We are #fergflorproud of you De’Marco! 👏
FFSD United Awards & Recognition Night
Congratulations to this year's 2024 United Award recipients. The event recognized our retirees, United awardees, Building Teachers of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Support Staff of the Year, and Principal of the Year. 🏅STEAM High School is #7 in Missouri🏅
STEAM Academy at McCluer South-Berkeley has been rated among the best in the country, according to the recently published 2024 U.S. News & World Report. In Missouri, the school ranked 7 out of 618 high schools, placing the school in the top 1% of high schools in the state. Out of 17,655 high schools nationally, STEAM Academy ranked No. 602, placing them in the top 4% of high schools across the U.S. Learn more about the Missouri rankings here.

Infinite Campus....Coming this Summer!
We're moving to a new student information system. New for the upcoming school year, Infinite Campus will replace Tyler SIS.
We're gearing up for a shift to a new student information system. Starting next school year, activities like filling out forms, checking grades, and monitoring student progress will take place on the Infinite Campus platform, moving away from Tyler SIS K-12. Learn about what that means for you.

We are celebrating our more than 700 graduates as the school year comes to a close. A little bit about our graduates:
More than 700 students graduated in the Class of 2024
Four earned an ACT score of 30 or higher, placing those students in the top 3% to 5% of Missouri students
Nine students have enlisted in the military
Seniors earned $27.8 million in scholarships and still counting….
35 salutatorians and valedictorians
To earn valedictorian, seniors must have an eighth-semester cumulative GPA of 4.4 or higher.
To earn salutatorians, seniors must have an eighth-semester cumulative GPA above 4.2 and below 4.4 GPA.
Our Students Making a Difference 🌳
Making a difference, one park at a time! Students from seven schools in Ferguson-Florissant joined forces for the #ConfluenceTrashBash, led by Open Space Stl. Together, they tackled 13 parks and schools, bagging over 30 bags of trash and even larger items like car parts and shopping carts! Huge shoutout to the incredible student volunteers from Ferguson Middle, STEAM Middle, Cross Keys, Innovation HS, Central Primary, McCluer, McCluer North, and Little Creek. Special thanks to the teachers for making it all happen: Gabiel Walker, Ryan Young, Robert Shaw, Katherine Powers, Yolanda Reeves, Angela Turigliatto, Jennifer Williams, and Joel Brown. Great work keeping our community clean and green!
McCluer North Senior Earns Tops At Tech Award
Jade Ford, senior at McCluer North, is the #TopsAtTech winner in Dental Sciences at North Tech. She will attend St. Xavier University in Chicago. Tops at Tech is North Tech’s recognition that honors exceptional career and technical education students. Nominations are based on success in skill attainment, curriculum mastery, responsibility, and willingness to go above and beyond to support classmates.

FFSD Families - A reminder that Hazel AT HOME for both teletherapy and telehealth is available all summer. Therapy is available weekdays 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Physical health is available weekdays 7 p.m. - 3 p.m. Doctor visits or teletherapy are right at your fingertips. Click here to get started.
McCluer Class of 1968 Scholarship
Every year for at least 15 years, the McCluer alumni from the class of 1968 have been fundraising and providing scholarships to seniors at McCluer. This collective act of giving back and pushing young people forward is nothing short of amazing. Thank you class of 1968 celebrating our current and future alumni.
