🎵 Notes from the President 🎶
Happy 2025! I hope your year has begun with joy and that this letter reaches you in good health and high spirits. I want to start by expressing how truly inspired I am by all of you. This organization has brought me immense joy, as well as to the East Texas community through music. Your dedication and volunteerism are a constant source of happiness and gratitude for me. Thank you!!
I’m thrilled to see all the exciting things Ashley Washmon and Holly Freeman have planned for us at the ball on April 5! If you haven’t gotten your ticket yet, now’s the time to grab it. We’ll be celebrating an incredible group of JSL students who have put in so much hard work over the last two years. Be sure to purchase your chance drawing tickets for Susan Robinson and Cavender’s shopping spree, as well as your gift boxes for Ramsey Fritz.
There’s only one symphony left this season, and it’s going to be a fantastic one. Get your tickets for Queen on March 29. This season has already been amazing, and I know it will end with the best concert.
I’m excited to announce our spring fundraiser! Amy Turman and Jamie Kirby and their team have planned a fun evening for us to come together and celebrate Fiesta Mexicana! Join us May 5th at Javi’s for a margarita with friends—it’s sure to be a great time! Everyone is welcome. Tickets are $50 or $60 at the door. Sponsorships are available and a great way to help support the Women’s Symphony League.
