Principal's Message
Dear FSE Families,
As we move into the last four full weeks of school there is still much to do and lots of activities taking place. Our staff are continuing to teach curriculum, as well as plan events such as field trips, track day, grade 6 farewell, and so much more!
Our Kindergarten Information Night was a success again this year! It is always exciting to spend time with our FSE families and share about all things kindergarten. Thank you to all the families who were able to attend!
Our School Council/ Parent Society Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday as well. I am happy to share that our executive team continues to be Stephanie Stoddard (Chair), Dallas Kirtz (Vice Chair), Kristen Lynds (Secretary), and Veronica Barton (Treasurer). Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to the executive for all the time and effort they generously donated this school year, and will continue to donate next year, to support our school community!
It is with mixed emotions that I share I have accepted the principalship at Westboro Elementary School for the 2024-25 school year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire Fort Saskatchewan Elementary School community for your support over the last three years. It has been an honour and a privilege to serve FSE students, families, and staff, as well as to work collaboratively with our Fort Saskatchewan Christian colleagues. I will take many fond memories with me and FSE will always hold a very special place in my heart.
As always, if you have any questions, please email me directly at shelby.labrecque@eips.ca or call 780-998-7771.
Kind regards,
Shelby Labrecque, M. Ed.

Track Day Volunteers Needed!
It is that time of year again and we are very excited to share that our annual Track Day is scheduled for Friday, June 7 from 8:45 a.m. to approximately 2:15 p.m. (The rainout date is Friday, June 14, times remain the same).
For this event to take place we rely on our families to volunteer in a variety of roles, such as station leaders and group helpers. If you are able to volunteer on either or both of these dates, please contact your child’s teacher directly or send an email to general.fse@eips.ca by Monday, June 3 at 8 a.m.
Thank you in advance to those of you who can donate your time! It is greatly appreciated!
