Blackboard Interactive Rubric

The Blackboard interactive rubric is a great way to make grading less stressful for you and your students. Rubrics give the student a clear understanding of what is expected of them in each assignment. They also ensure that you are consistent in your grading and allow you to give feedback based on the rubric criteria. Learn more at http://tinyurl.com/ph2owpj

Tip: Would you jump into a car and drive across the country without looking at a map to guide you? Probably not, so why make your students navigate a project/paper without a map that leads to success. Improve your students’ performance and overall satisfaction when it comes to assignments by giving them concrete directions about what makes a good paper, a good project or task.

PIXLR is a free and fairly sophisticated photo editing program. With the app, you can apply quick fixes, overlays, filters and even add to stickers to enhance your photos. The desktop editor is more robust and gives you full control over you images. Learn more at https://pixlr.com


Tip: Have your students create a photo story where a picture tells the story instead of them writing about it.
