What is Globalization?
There are four key aspects to globalization:
- Cultural
- Economic
- Technological
- Environmental
Globalization is how people interact with the environment throughout different cultures, communication is always developing through technology, and the economy grows by nations interacting with each other.
Technological
One problem I see with technology is that maybe it makes us too connected. It's always great that we're finding new ways to communicate with each other but people not wanting to socialize with each other because they’re too preoccupied with their phones speaks to a much larger problem within our generation.
Environmental
One problem, I think, is that we use too many natural resources for our own entertainment. I'm not saying specifically with making iPhones but just in general. Like, how we use an abundance of gasoline for Nascar and we're just wasting a nonrenewable resource for entertainment.
Cultural
One problem I see with globalization is basically the Americanization of, well, the world. Some people think it's ruining cultures. For example, there's a McDonalds right next to the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.
Economic
One problem economically would be that employees over in China do not get paid enough. There's a company that Apple uses called Foxconn that works the employees so hard that most end up taking their own lives.
I think there's a simple solution for that problem; don't work your employees to the point of suicide. Pay them more and don't exhaust them with the work overload. I also think another solution would be to raise awareness to the United States because what American looks at their iPhone and thinks, "Wow, someone died to make this for me."

My Walk with Globalization
I think a bad impact globalization has on my life is that I spend too much time on the internet and not in real life.
