Positive ways to manage everyday challenges
Little children can have BIG emotions. And that can mean meltdowns, bedtime battles and aggressive behavior. Parents and caregivers need positive solutions that really work, for all kinds of situations.
- When children get better at things like routines, sharing, and getting along with others, family life gets a lot better.
- Children gain valuable life skills like problem-solving to help them now, and in the future.
- Children can learn to talk about strong emotions and handle them calmly.
Triple P can support you with strategies that take some of the challenges out of family life, leading to happier, calmer everyday living.

If you are interested in being a member of the committee, fill out the survey below and a meeting will be set up.

Steps for Becoming a Volunteer
Process:
A GJPS staff member will notify the school community of a need for volunteers.
Family members will contact the building coordinator or teacher to express an interest in volunteering.
Coordinator/teacher will share the Online Volunteer Application and Background Check Link: https://apps.raptortech.com/Apply/OTkwOmVuLVVT
Volunteers will complete the application at least 5 days prior to the volunteer opportunity.
Note:
Other siblings can not volunteer with family members.
Visitors will continue to have their driver’s license scanned with our Raptor system which checks them against the national sex offender registry. This would include parents coming to have lunch with their student(s), guest readers, corporate presenters, etc.
