Ridgewood Middle Bulldog Bulletin

It was a great week here at RMS!

During this week’s Board of Education meeting, the Fox C-6 Board of Education approved Mrs. Alicia Uhl as the new Assistant Principal for Ridgewood Middle School, beginning July 1, 2025. Mrs. Uhl is currently a math teacher and the Math Department Head at Ridgewood, where she has been since 2007. Aside from her time at Ridgewood, Mrs. Uhl also taught the 2nd Grade at Meramec Heights for one year. She has served as a Teacher Leader since 2011, serving on multiple committees, and running different programs at RMS.

Please help us congratulate Mrs. Uhl on her new role!

Just a reminder that Monday, February 17th is Presidents' Day. School will not be in session that day.

Any student who would like to participate in Chess Club can pick up a permission form in the flyer holder outside of the office. Signed forms should be turned into the blue box outside of the office. The first Chess Club meeting will be on Tuesday, February 11th from 3-4 pm in Room 404.

Good attendance leads to academic success! If the kids aren't at school, they are not getting the instruction that they need! Of course, if any student has a fever or is sick we always want them to stay home so everyone can stay healthy. If students are not coming to school for reasons other than appointments (Dentist, Doctor, Funeral, etc.) and sickness on a regular basis (attendance rate below 90%), they will not be able to participate in any of the RMS after school activities or qualify for attendance incentives. Please note that appointments (Dentist, Doctor, Funeral, etc.) and sickness can only be excused if a documentation is turned into the office (Doctor/Dentist note, etc).

Now that the school year is in full swing, clubs have begun at RMS! To see what clubs are active at RMS, click here! Some clubs run all year and some are seasonal, so check back periodically for more information!

Compass Health Dental Services will be at Ridgewood Middle School 03/04/25 thru 03/07/25.If you would like your student to be seen, please fill out the "Letter of Interest" and return it to school by 0/3/03/25. We will forward it onto Compass Health Dental and they will reach out to you.
