October Topic: Avoiding Burnout
The condition of burnout has emerged as a serious trend within today’s workplace.
Being stressed out has progressed from just being generally dissatisfied with your day-to-day activities to a modification of habits and attitudes that can impact your professional career. By examining the biological, psychological and motivational components that contribute to being “burned out” this presentation will be identifying how these elements work together to create this situation, and also provides several recovery strategies to recover from this situation.
Upon completion of this on-demand webinar, participants will be able to:
- Define burnout and understand the importance of managing workplace stress
- Recognize external sources that contribute to burnout
- Identify the three progressive stages of burnout
- Distinguish between the three phases of compassion fatigue
- Learn techniques for managing burnout and workplace stress
