Signing up is free, easy, and helps our school community raise funds for continued home and school support of classroom resources, school initiatives, and various programs, PLUS this year’s funds will also go towards new playground equipment, student chairs, and sensory items for students.

How does it work? On 10/10, students will participate in multiple minutes of themed running, walking, and dancing led by the Booster Team! This will add up to 35 minutes of physical activity. We are thrilled to announce that this year’s musical will be Aladdin (Kids)! We will have a Pre-Audition Workshop on Thursday, November 7th to provide students with audition materials and opportunities to learn and practice. Auditions will take place after school the following week. Parents/caregivers will need to sign their interested 5th and 6th graders up for ONE audition date, EITHER Monday, Nov. 11th OR Tuesday, Nov. 12th. Signup forms to follow in October. Students should be prepared to attend callbacks on Thursday, Nov. 14th, which is for students we need to see again. The cast list will be announced on Friday, November 15th.

Performance dates for the show are as follows:

At Central Bucks, our mission is to equip every student, regardless of ability or need, with academic and problem-solving skills essential for personal growth, responsible citizenship and continuous learning. In recent years, the district has been working to create a continuum of special education services and programs in all schools to ensure students with disabilities can be educated in their home schools and alongside their peers, to the maximum extent possible, rather than transported to schools or locations outside their home school. During the 2024-2025 school year, CBSD invites students to draw inspiration from CBSD's "Portrait of a Graduate" to create an original design to display on the lock screens of district laptops and ClearTouch panels. The winning artwork will be featured on CBSD screens each month for all students, faculty and staff to see! Submissions for the first round of the competition are due today, Sept. 20. The winning student artist will also receive a prize. Students can submit their designs based on each month's Portrait of a Graduate theme. More details and how to submit.

All CBSD parents and guardians, employees, students and members of the public are invited to the district’s annual and free-to-attend Wellness Fair, to be held on Tuesday, October 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Central Bucks High School South (1100 Folly Road, Warrington). Featuring over 60 vendors from various sectors, including mental health professionals, behavioral health experts, and wellness providers, this complimentary event is designed to support mental health, behavioral health, and overall wellness for individuals and families. Home and School is still looking for homeroom parents for the 2024-2025 school year. Being a homeroom parent is a fun way to support Kutz and to be a part of your child's school year experience. Each K-5th grade classroom has 2-3 homeroom parents who work together to fulfill the homeroom parent duties. Note: 6th grade coordinators were selected last spring.

Below are the responsibilities of the homeroom parent:

1. Collect classroom dues of $5 per student for grades 1-5, $10 per student for kindergarten
2. Work with your child's teacher to plan classroom parties
3. Collect parent email addresses at Back to School Night to form a classroom communication list
4. Communicate information about school events to your class through email and at events like Back to School Night

(Please note: This requires frequent use of email and timely responses. Home & School relies on homeroom parents to spread information about classroom dues, class parties, Teacher Appreciation Week, Spring Fair and other Home and School related events.)

The 1-to-1 fee payment system opened on August 14 for families of students in grades 3-12. There is no fee for families of K-2 students as devices for these grades stay at school. All CB students will either receive a device this year or continue to use the device that was issued last year. Even if your child has their own device, we ask that you participate in our program to allow for a consistent learning platform for our students. Kindergarten

• Beginning in the 2019-2020 school year, we implemented a “modified kindergarten” schedule on weather delay days. The schedule will be as follows for Kutz: AM Students 10:50 AM – 12:35 PM and PM Students 1:45 PM – 3:30 PM
