Minutos de Mrs. Hutchins
Hello Fronteras Families!
Spirit Week Update and Change: Our next Spirit Week will be March 1st-5th. The theme for each day will reflect something to represent Dr. Seuss and his creative genius! Stay tuned for more information.
Student-led conferences are next Monday and Tuesday. Everyone should have heard from their child’s teachers about what those days will look like and how to participate. If you have questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher ASAP.
Quick reminder: Intent forms are due April 14th. Thank you to everyone who has already returned them to the front office!
We’re looking forward to interviewing all of the 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students that turned in a Student Ambassador application! Thank you parents for supporting your child in this endeavor!
It was so fun visiting all the classrooms today and seeing (and hearing) all the joy and fun that was had opening Valentines and playing various games. Thank you for your support in helping Valentine boxes get made and supplying sweet treats for kiddos to hand out; all of which helped our students have a super fun day!
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!
Most Sincerely, Mrs. Hutchins

Fronteras nominated as a Capturing Kids' Hearts National Showcase School!
For the 5th year in a row, Fronteras has been nominated as a Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase School! Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH) is our behavior initiative that focuses on building and maintaining positive relationships, owning our behaviors, and developing self-managing classrooms and meetings. Fronteras has been implementing CKH strategies since December, 2012. There are numerous steps and tasks that we’ll complete between now and April. At the completion of the tasks, The Flippen Group will evaluate each nominees performance and announce the schools who earned the title of being a National CKH Showcase School.
