🌞 Prevent Summer Learning Loss – Keep Learning All Summer!

To help students stay sharp and ready for the new school year, all students will continue to have access to our digital learning programs through Clever. These include:

• IXL
• HMH Waggle/Amira
• Progress Learning
  (availability depends on grade level)

📚 Recommended Use:
We encourage students to use these programs at least three times per week for 20 minutes per subject.

A printable IXL Summer Challenge Calendar is available by grade level. Students who complete the full calendar will receive a reward when we return to school in August!

Important Update on Service Hours for 2025–2026

Due to ongoing construction on our campus this summer,

we will not be offering service opportunities at our location.

However, families may begin completing service hours at

another Franklin campus starting Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

These hours will count toward the first academic quarter of the 2025–2026 school year.

Please note that all parent/guardian service hour

commitments must be fulfilled by Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to enhance our campus facilities.

Seventh Grade : In addition to all other compulsory school immunizations, children entering, attending, or transferring to the seventh grade in Florida schools are required to complete the following:

• One dose of tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis vaccine (Tdap)

• At the Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) board meeting recently, it was announced that BCPS will be discontinuing its universal free lunch program at the conclusion of this school year.

• Franklin Academy’s lunch program operates independently of BCPS and will continue offering free meals for the upcoming school year.

• Our Broward campuses remain eligible for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) and are approved by the National School Lunch Program to provide free meals through the 2026–2027 school year.
