This Week at Windsor...
#WEAREWINDSOR
November 18th, 2022
Windsor Families,
We had a very colorful week at Windsor! It was fun to see so many students participate in our Color Spirit Week!
On Thursday, we held an Ability Awareness Day for grades 1-4 with the Northwest Special Recreation Association. They provided experiential stations for our students to learn about people with varying abilities. Students had time to reflect on their experience at each station. Thank you to the PTA for funding this event.
Every year, Windsor Staff partners with Windsor Cares PTA committee to collect gift cards for Windsor families in need. This year, we will begin collecting after we return to school on November 28th. The giving globe will be set up in the office and students can bring in $10 or $20 gift cards to Marianos, Jewel, Aldi, Target, or Walmart to add to the collection box. Students will also add a sticker to the giving globe. We look forward to filling our giving globe and being able to provide families in need with a little extra this holiday season.
To meet the ABC25 membership goal, Windsor still needs 17 more families to join. If you are able to, please click this link to join: abc25.org/donate
Just a reminder that we go outside for recess if the air temperature is zero or above, please be sure to send your child(ren) to school with the proper cold weather gear. If your child is missing any of their winter items, be sure to come in and check out the lost and found.
Flu season is here, please see the important influenza information below. Also attached, is information regarding Lice.
I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving, we will see you in a week!
Have a wonderful week,
