Garden Club Updates
There are some updates to the schedule for those students in Garden Club this month. Garden Club will only meet on December 6 this month.
Read to Spin, Spin to Win!
All students (K-5) should be reading each night as part of their homework. Reading daily positively affects academic achievement, improves writing skills, stimulates creativity, and helps to build empathy. All minutes read should be recorded on the student's APPLE CORE bookmark. Once the bookmark is complete and turned in, students will have the opportunity to spin the prize wheel.
Yearbook Sales
It's time to order your school yearbook. You can purchase the yearbook online at buytheyearbook.com (Cozine's school ID# is 715542). Cash purchases will be available for parents on Wednesdays during arrival and dismissal by the front gate. Exact change only please. Yearbooks are $25. Reserving your yearbook early helps us know how many to order and ensures that you don't miss out on a year of memories!
Restaurant Fundraiser Nights
Thank you for supporting our Chipotle night! It was a huge success and we made $159! This money helps us support student involvement programs such as sports, cheerleading, and our garden club.
Please mark your calendars for our upcoming Restaurant Night:
- Tuesday, December 12 - Cafe Zupas at 1850 Craig Rd
We look forward to more fun restaurant nights after Winter Break!

REMINDERS
REMINDER: Cozine is Hiring!
Cozine is hiring for multiple CTT positions. CTTs work with small groups of students to provide instructional interventions throughout the school day. We are hiring one CTT per grade level.
A CTT must hold a substitute license with the district and state, but we can help with that process. If you would like more information about this, please let us know here at Cozine or fill out the application at THIS LINK.
REMINDER: Cell Phones and Smart Watches
At Cozine, students are required to keep their personal communication devices off and in their backpacks during instructional hours. Students are permitted to use their phones before and after school. This aligns with district policy that helps prevent bullying, cyber bullying, unfiltered internet access, and cheating. If you have questions about this policy, please reach out to the office or school administration.
REMINDER: Parking Lot Safety
We would like to remind you of the importance of driving safely in and around the school parking lot. The safety of our students is our top priority, and we need your help to ensure that everyone is safe.
Please remember to follow all traffic rules and regulations when driving in and around the school parking lot. This includes obeying speed limits, stopping at stop signs, and yielding to pedestrians. It is also important to park only in designated areas and avoid double parking or blocking other vehicles. Around Drop-off and Pick-up times, there is only one entrance to the lot. Please do not enter through the exit, they are clearly marked.
Lastly, our children learn from us. Be the example. Follow the rules.
By working together, we can create a safe environment for our students. Thank you for your cooperation.
