Discovery Club 2024-2025
Discovery Club is the after-school care program at Highland Park Elementary. Registration for the 2024-2025 school year for families new to Discovery Club begins on Monday, April 29, at 9:00 a.m. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited. Wait lists are likely to form, so do not delay if you need after-school child care for the coming school year. MCAs Conclude
Lunch Balance Refunds
Beginning this year, all students are entitled to one free lunch and one free breakfast daily. Some of our families have a carryover balance in their SchoolCafe accounts from the previous year. Please view your SchoolCafe account and use the form below to request a refund on any existing balance.
Scottie Fun Run
Join us for the 2024 Scottie Fun Run on Saturday, May 11th from 9:00-11:00am at the Highland High School Track (on Montreal and Snelling).
Children and adults can run races and participate in other games. Food will be available for purchase from food trucks. Snacks will be provided.
Races
Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st graders will run 400 m (1 lap)
2nd – 3rd graders will run 800 m (2 laps)
4th- 5th graders will run 1600 m (4 laps)
6th graders through adults will run 1600 m (4 laps)
T-Shirts–NEW this year!
This year, runners are invited to wear RED or any HPE t-shirt they have! We will have red HPE t-shirts for sale at the event for $15 each in kids and adult sizes. If you have HPE t-shirts you no longer wear, you can bring them to donate for others to have! Note: Wearing an HPE t-shirt is NOT required for participation, just a suggestion.
Registration
We are asking for a suggested registration donation of $5 per runner or a maximum of $25 per family. Donations are used to pay for race gifts, snacks, and entertainment. Your child will bring a registration form home after Spring Break.
