Library Digital Resources are available for home use!
We offer a variety of encyclopedias, databases, and e-books on our library resource page. These digital resources are available at school and at home. You will need a username and password for home access. Please see Ms. Ford in the library for passwords or send an email to jford7@neisd.net requesting this information (requests must be for a student attending an NEISD school).
Bluebonnet Book Kick-Off
The Texas Bluebonnet Award is a reading program for students in third, fourth, and fifth grade. To participate students must read a minimum of five books from the list of 20 books. Once they have read five books and completed their Bluebonnet book reading log (available at the library) they will be eligible to vote for their favorite book and attend the "Bluebonnet Party." Both voting and the party will be at the end of January 2016.

Pretty shelves
At the end of last year, we were able to purchase new shelves for our library. Thank you to PTA and everyone that helped to make our book fair and magazine sales a success!
A comfy place to sit
Thanks to our book fair and magazine fundraisers last year, we were able to purchase comfortable new ottomans for students to use while reading a good book. We are enjoying our new furniture.
