Assalamu alaikum respected parents,
I pray you are all well. Last Sunday was our Review for the Final Exams. Teachers provided students with study guides/instructions for Final Exams starting tomorrow, May 12th and the following Sunday, May 19th in the AM. Please note that ALL Islamic History and Islamic Studies Teachers are taking their Final Exams tomorrow, May 12th in sha Allah and most Quran Teachers are taking their Final Exams on May 19th, in sha Allah in the AM with the exception of a couple of grades, that are taking all subject area exams tomorrow. Per current weather predictions, it will be sunny on May 19th in sha Allah and we plan to celebrate the end of Sunday School with a Field Day in the PM (11:30 - 1:00). Students will enjoy outdoor games and activities in sha Allah in the backyard field of IFN. JazakAllah Khair to all those parents who have signed up as volunteers for Field Day in sha Allah. For any other parents, who would like to volunteer and have fun while helping out with Field Day, please fill out THIS FORM and we will reach out to share more information.

Sunday School will hold its 8th Grade Graduation & Awards Distribution Ceremony on JUNE 2nd, 2024. Like last year, any 8th grade boys & girls interested in giving a graduation speech on June 2nd, please submit your speech by MAY 19th for review at: ifnss.principal@ifnonline.com with the subject line ‘Graduation Speech’. We will select 1-2 candidates in shaa Allah who can give a 1-3 minutes speech on June 2nd. Requirements: Speech should NOT EXCEED 3 minutes
MORNING ASSEMBLY: On Sunday (5/5), our morning assembly was led by Br Imam Azfar. and students enjoyed listening to a storybook "Homeland - my father dreams of Palestine" by Reem Madooh. It is an story of three young girls who eagerly await the return of their father who tells them stories of a faraway homeland—Palestine. Through their father's memories, the Old City of Jerusalem comes to life: the sounds of juice vendors beating rhythms with brass cups, the smell of argileh drifting through windows, and the sight of doves flapping their wings toward home.
