Project Grad Cornhole Tournament
Dear Parents and Families,
As you know, the Class of 2025 is gearing up for graduation, and we're working hard to make the evening after the ceremony a fun, safe, and memorable celebration for all of our seniors. Currently, we have 453 seniors, which translates to over 900 parents, and we’re grateful for the 275 of you who are already a part of this incredible parent group.
However, there is still a lot of work to be done, and we need your help!
The annual Cornhole Tournament is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, but we’re facing some challenges this time around. Specifically, we are struggling to secure:
Teams to participate in the tournament
Lane sponsors to support the event
Raffle items (gift cards, baskets, etc.) for the silent auction
Cornhole boards and bags for the event day
Despite reaching out to over 50 businesses and individuals, we are still in need of more support. This event not only raises vital funds for Project Graduation but also brings our community together, and we want it to be a success for our kids.
Here’s how you can help:
Create a Team & Sign Up: Grab a friend or family member and join the fun! Teams of all skill levels are welcome.
Become a Lane Sponsor: Your sponsorship helps fund the event and gives your business or family exposure.
Donate Raffle Items: Gift cards, baskets, or other fun prizes for the silent auction would be greatly appreciated.
Loan Us Cornhole Boards and Bags: Do you have a set of high-quality cornhole boards and bags we can use for the event?
Even if you're not able to help in one of these ways, please share this message with anyone you think may be able to pitch in. The more support we have, the better this celebration will be for our kids.
We truly appreciate any additional help you can offer to ensure a successful event.

Celebrating our Class of 2025
We want to display, promote, and especially celebrate the future plans of our senior class! Upstairs, right at the entrance of the 400 hallway, we have created an acceptance wall. When one of our seniors decides on the path they are going to take after graduation, whether that is college, working, trade school, military, or whatever else there is out there, we want them to sign their name to the corresponding sign on our acceptance wall. And if we don't have a sign for someone's next step, they need to talk to their counselor and we'll get it added!
Planning a Day Off for a College Visit?
If you are going on a college visit during a school day, please have your parent call Jill Washington, Attendance Secretary, 856-2610, at least two days prior to your visit in order for your absence to be coded as a school activity. - No more than one visit may be taken in any quarter.
College days may not be taken the last week of any quarter.
