If a student does not have a parking permit, they cannot park at CRHS during the school day. Progressive discipline will be followed for any violations.
All library obligations are due by November 15th.
Lifetouch will be here on Nov 19th for Underclassman retakes. If students want a retake, they need to email Mrs. Donovan so she can add them to the schedule for that day. Any student who has not gotten their photo taken at all is already on the schedule and does not need to contact me.

October Students of the Month
Trace Breeding is the TOUGH Student of the Month for the Class of 2028! Trace was nominated twice this month. The first came from Ms. Dennis who said “Trace always completes his work and participates in lessons. Today, he went above and beyond by helping out a classmate who was stuck without being asked. Thanks to his help, the other student was also able to obtain their goals!” Later in the month, Mr. Gwynn recognized Trace for going above and beyond and having heart, saying: “Trace always makes sure to clean up the classroom at the end of the class. He will make sure everything is put back in its place even if he wasn't the one to use it. It's a big help to make sure the classroom stays neat and tidy!” Ms. Dennis is Trace’s favorite teacher because she is “kind and has good conversations with me and my classmates.” After high school, Trace wants to go to college and get a job. For him, Being TOUGH comes down to “being respectful to any and everyone, doing your work, and listening.”
Fun Fact: Trace wants to play high school baseball!
Brooke Dadds is the TOUGH Student of the Month for the Class of 2027! Brooke was nominated by two teachers during October. Mrs. Kendall recognized Brooke for obtaining goals and going above and beyond, saying: “Brooke consistently works hard in Algebra II. She participates daily and takes diligent notes to make sure that she will obtain her goals. She is willing to try problems even if she is unsure and is always willing to help classmates learn new skills.” Mr. Luongo also sent in a nomination, stating that “Brooke obtains her goals every week by working diligently at everything she does. She asks clarifying questions when needed, and raises the level of understanding for her team and the class.” Brooke enjoys Mr. Shelly’s class the best because “I get to learn so many new things and it will 100% help me out in the future.” For Brooke, being TOUGH means “always doing what you are told and getting your work done in time. I would say going above and beyond is most important because I always want to push myself to be the best version of myself I can be.”
Fun Fact: Brooke has dreamed of becoming a vet since she was 6 years old!
Carlens Jean Baptiste is the TOUGH Student of the Month for the Class of 2026! Mrs. Kendall Mrs. Michaluk nominated Carlens for his work toward obtaining his goals. She said: “Carlens has worked very hard to keep his grades up during this first quarter. He asks questions to be sure he understands and is always willing to share his answers/strategy with his classmates. He always has a positive attitude and is a pleasure to have in class this year. Keep up the good work, Carlens!” When it comes to his favorite teachers at Colonel, Carlens says he likes Mrs. Kendall because of the small class size and “she explains the lessons in ways I understand.” Being respectful is the most important part of TOUGH for Carlens. He says: “I treat others the way I want to be treated.” After high school, Carlens would like to become a welder.
Fun Fact: Carlens plays football, wrestles, and runs track. He also raps “on all platforms!”
Ronaldo Perez Rivera is the TOUGH Student of the Month for the Class of 2025! Mrs. Michaluk nominated Ronaldo for his work toward obtaining his goals. She said: “Ronaldo has been hard at work in English 12. He asks for help when he has a question, does a great job of taking suggestions, and is making good progress on the curriculum. Great work OBTAINING GOALS, Ronaldo!” Ronaldo’s favorite class is gym because he can spend his time playing games. For him, being TOUGH means “to be a good student, listen do your work be nice to other students. I think you should listen and do your work every day.” After graduation, Ronaldo wants to get a job and make money.
Fun Fact: Ronaldo is really good at soccer and playing the drums!

Technology Obligations
Starting November 1, 2024, CCPS will begin to obligate students for damaged and missing technology equipment. The CCPS Student Technology Obligation Program is designed to promote students' responsible use of technology and reduce damage costs through a tier-based pricing system. This program aligns with the Technology Obligation Regulation (Reference: III.31.71R) and the CCPS Terms of Use Agreement governing the use of technology by students.
Program Objectives:
- Cost Reduction: Minimize repair and replacement costs for student-issued technology devices.
- Responsibility Encouragement: Encourage students to take responsibility for the care and use of their assigned devices.
Tiered Pricing Reference: For details on the tiered pricing structure, please take a look at the Tiered Obligation Pricing. This document outlines the pricing levels based on the type and extent of damage.
Payment Processing: Tech obligations are treated like any other in-school obligation:
- In-School Payments: Payments may be collected at the school level and forwarded to the Central Office Finance Department for processing. When a payment is received in school, it must be documented, and the in-school tech should be notified to update the system accordingly.
- Online Payments: Parents and students can also make payments conveniently online using MySchoolBucks at CCPS Tech Payments.
