Brother Noel Mayfield, brother of Brother Toney Hinton, passed July 24. Homegoing Services will be held Saturday, August 10, at 11:00AM at Mount Moriah. Please keep the Hinton and Mayfield families in your prayers.

With great joy and thanksgiving, I come before you today to declare the goodness of the Lord

in the land of the living. The Lord continues to shower the Mount Moriah Church with His undue faithfulness. The year 2023 has been a year to remember in the life of our church. Construction commenced, and now we have a good portion of the fellowship hall classroom spaces framed and nearly walled in. The metal is now onsite and framing for the sanctuary is substantially underway. And so, as we move into 2024, we’re asking every member to do two things:

1. Continue to pray for the project

2. Help us pay for the project. In 2024, we are asking every member to give at least an additional $24 above their regular giving each month. That totals an additional $288 from every member for the year 2024.

"Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22."

The One in Prayer project for the month of August is SOS: Surrendering Our Struggles. As believers, we are encouraged to cast our burdens on the Lord and leave them there believing that God is more than able to handle them. Psalm 55:22 promises the believer that he shall be sustained. God has more than proven Himself faithful. Pray daily at 1pm for grace to trust God
