Principal Gober's Greetings
Knik Families,
I hope you and your family had a wonderful summer filled with laughter, relaxation, good health, and fun adventures! I enjoyed kayaking, swimming, 4 wheeling, fishing, harvesting wood, gardening, and spending time with my family and friends and all our farm animals. It’s hard to say goodbye to the busy and relaxing days of summer, but it’s so exciting to gear up for a new school year full of new opportunities to learn, teach, serve, improve, and grow together!
We hope you can join us for our Knik Open House on Wednesday, 08/14 from 4:30-6:00 pm for a brief Title 1 presentation in the Gym, meet your child’s teacher(s), drop off school supplies, and finish the event with an ice cream social in our lobby!
I am ready and eager to kick off a positive and exciting new school year with the students, families, staff, and learning community I love, Knik Elementary! It’s going to be an amazing new school year working together to do what’s right for our students.
As always, we are here to serve you and our Knik Learning Community. If you have any questions or would like more information regarding the many different ways you can connect and partner with us, please feel free to contact myself (denise.gober@matsuk12.us) or my fabulous front office team, Shari and Jeneen @ 907-352-0300.
In partnership and support 🙂
