The Meadow Wood Polar Express Project
Dear Parents,
We are excited to announce a special holiday initiative at Meadow Wood: The Polar Express! The Student Council has organized this project to spread festive cheer to our school staff and teachers.
Here’s how you can help:
Have your child write or draw a positive, uplifting note for a teacher or staff member at the school. Once completed, your child can drop their note in one of the Polar Express Mailboxes, located near the front and back doors of the school. Our Student Council members will deliver the letters to staff each day.
Your child should have received a note and a sheet of Polar Express paper in their Friday Folder. They are welcome to write as many notes as they’d like! Additional paper will be available by the mailboxes and in the classrooms.
The project will run from Monday, December 9 through Wednesday, December 18.
Thank you for helping us spread holiday cheer to all the wonderful people who make Meadow Wood Elementary the BEST!
Warm regards,
Katie McCracken

Thank you to our Amazing PTA!
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the PTA for their generous support in purchasing headphones with microphones equipped with speech-to-text technology for our students. This incredible contribution ensures that our students, especially those who have the accommodation of speech-to-text, have the tools they need to succeed.
Your commitment to our students’ education makes a significant difference, and we truly appreciate all you do for our school community. Thank you for making a positive impact in the lives of our learners!
