• It was great to stop into classrooms this week and see students working on their writing skills. No matter what grade it was, I noticed students focused on their hand writing, use of details and use of text evidence within their responses.
• We have an early release next Wednesday (9/25). Students are dismissed at 2:35 on this day.
• For our early release, 1/2 day AM kindergarten is released at 11:15, and 1/2 day PM begins 12:25.
• For families with students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade, please read the following letter regarding an SEL survey that students will take the week of 9/30. SEL Survey Parent Letter
• Sign up for Parent-teacher conferences opens at 8:00 am on Friday, September 27th. You can sign up through the Parent Login on the Munhall website. HAC will then direct you to the registration page, click on the home tab, and continue to the parent-teacher conference link.

• A wedding band was found outside at Munhall. Please contact Mrs. Sjogren to describe and claim. jaime.sjogren@d303.org.

• We will have a spirit week beginning on Monday! Please see the flyer below. We start with crazy hair, sock or hat day on Monday.
• Our Mun Run is on Friday, September 27. Families are invited to come watch their child/children run during their grade level time. If you do plan to attend, you do not need to come to the main entrance at all. Please just go straight to the outdoor blacktop/grass area. Please see the grade level times below:

In honor of Custodian and Maintenance Appreciation Day on October 2nd, the PTO would love help from Munhall students and families! Grab your markers, crayons, and paints to create a special drawing to show our amazing custodians and maintenance staff how much we appreciate everything they do for Munhall:

The Saint Charles East Football Team is hosting a Youth Night on Friday, September 27th and we would love to include our flyer in your upcoming school newsletters. This event aims to encourage student participation and promote school spirit, and it would mean a lot to us if you could help spread the word.

District 303 is proud to partner with the Glenbard Parent Series (GPS) to offer our families broader access to information sessions and resources that support their child’s development.

For decades, GPS has been offering free programs that aim to empower and strengthen families, individuals and communities. As a partner organization, District 303 will support promoting upcoming programs and their importance to our local community.

D303 will host the 4th annual Pathways Night at Compass Academy on October 30. This career fair welcomes employers and educational institutions supporting careers that don't require a 4-year college degree. If you are a business owner and wish to participate in Pathways Night, please complete this form. More information for students and families interested in attending will be available in the next few weeks.
