November!!
Dear Infinity Community,
As we settle into quarter two, and transition our calendar's from October to November we want to continue to thank you for your partnership and support. We cannot be a school community without you!
You will also notice that our school and greater Cherokee Trail feeder area has a lot of events coming up. We always encourage participation and attendance at our Infinity specific events, as well as events that support all of our CT students. Between Conferences, IMS Fall Festival, basketball, Veteran's Day, and upcoming plays we have a lot going on! Thank you for supporting our students.
Lastly, Halloween is on Thursday this year, and we will allow students to dress up during the school day. Costumes are not required/expected. Please see costume expectations below:
- No masks/face paint (face coverings are not allowed)
- No blood/gore
- No props/weapons
- No inflatables (they are too big for our hallways and classrooms)
- Dress code expectations remain
- It is a school day, so please make sure you can learn in your costume!
Thank you for helping with our Halloween costume expectations!
Regards,
Dr. Dan Hanson

Traffic Reminders
Please help us keep our kids and community safe...
We continue to have concerns around parking lot etiquette and safety. Recently, we had two city council members and police officers here to observe our dismissal traffic flow as it continues to be a safety issue for both our pedestrians and drivers.
Please don't turn left. If you are traveling North or South on Harvest please do not U-turn at the intersection in front of parking lot entrance. We have had multiple close calls with kids and traffic accidents. We will continue to work with the city to see if we can find alternative solutions in the future, but for now we need to work together for the safety of our community.

Attendance Matters!
Regular daily school attendance is a critical factor in school success. Students who are chronically absent from school are at risk of falling behind in academic learning. Poor attendance in early grades can influence whether children read proficiently by the end of third grade. By sixth grade, chronic absence can be a predictor of whether a student is at risk for dropping out of school. Help us meet our goal of having every child in school every day. After School Games/Activities Attendance
Just a reminder - any student attending a track meet, basketball game, performance, etc. at IMS or Cherokee Trail high school must be supervised by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event. We do not allow students to attend events unsupervised. Thank you for your support.
