Dear Parents and Caregivers of Tōtara
On Friday, 10 June, Tōtara will be travelling by bus to the Auckland Stardome at One Tree Hill. During our visit, the students will be exploring Planet Earth and Beyond at the Stardome Observatory and then walking to the top of One Tree Hill at Cornwall Park for lunch. This trip will support our inquiry focus for Term 2.
We will be leaving school at 8.30 am, so all students will need to be at school by 8.15 am. We will be back by the end of the school day.
The students will need to bring a packed lunch, water, rain jacket, and a clean, tidy school uniform.
The cost of the trip is $15.00 which covers the expense of the buses and entrance to the Stardome Observatory. Payment is to be made on Kindo by 6 June. By paying for this trip you will be giving permission for your child to participate. You can also indicate any health issues we need to know about.
We will need parent support for this trip. If you are able to join us and support a small group, please indicate on Kindo when you pay for the trip.
