SJG Daily Update 5/27/2020 Edition

Pick-up will take place under the over hang in the front of SJG on Thursday, May 28th. The lot will be coned off to keep cars in a straight line. A security guard will be in the parking lot to help guide you. Please provide the security guard with your child(ren)’s names. A staff member in the gym will bring bagged items out and place them on a table. You will be directed to exit your vehicle and retrieve the items. We would also appreciate it if you could bring any items that belong to the school that are not needed for the remainder of the year such as library books. There will be a bin for collection. Thank you.

Based on the beginning letter of your child’s last name, please arrive during the correct time slot.

Thank you for creating an inspirational rock for our Chilton Medical Center healthcare heroes! The rocks are beautiful and they will be a perfect addition to the Chilton Wellness garden.

Please deliver your painted rocks to Pequannock Township High School on Tuesday, May 26th - Thursday, May 28th from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm.

To drop off the inspirational rocks, please enter the PTHS gym lot. There will be a BLUE table located at the corner of the building set up for you to place your rock(s). The rocks will be collected throughout the day and sealed in preparation for delivery to Chilton Medical Center.

On Friday, May 29th, we will do our Virtual Field Day! This is the learning for the day! It will be a ton of fun. All of the information is on Mr. Larranaga's Google Classroom.

There is a link on how to use Flipgrid, a list of materials for the day, and on Friday there will a class code to log into for all the fun events!

Per the input of the PTHS Class of 2020 we have updated the school district calendar. June 18 & 19 are now unused emergency school closing giveback days. The last day of school will be on June 17th. The graduation events at PV and PTHS will still be held on those days, but school will otherwise not be in session.

Being unable to see friends or family, and not having the ability to participate in regular activities is stressful. People working during these times is also stressful as is not working. Teaching our kids at home is stressful. If the stress is becoming a lot, we have two good resources below for parents and we have other resources too. Don't hesitate to reach out to Mr. Im, Mrs. Vacca, or I as well.
