Spotted At ZESD 6
Clockwise from the upper left corner:
- Lakeview Elementary had a wonderful celebration for Hispanic Heritage Month on Tuesday night, featuring food trucks, arts and crafts, presentations, games, and other enjoyable activities. It was an excellent opportunity for the community to unite and celebrate Hispanic culture.
ZESD 6 kicked off the new year of the Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program with two healthy and delicious snacks. The two options this week to try were local green peppers and cantaloupe.
- In celebration of World Smile Day, Elmwood Elementary brightened the day with smiley face erasers and tokens of appreciation for staff. It was a heartwarming gesture that lifted everyone's spirits.
- In ZCMS's Career Explorations class, students participated in a "Shark Tank" event, presenting their innovative solutions to real-world problems identified using the design process. The activity aligned with the class's focus on career exploration, problem-solving, and critical thinking. As a culmination of their hard work, students showcased their projects to a panel of judges, enhancing their public speaking and professionalism.
