It's Homecoming Week
Parents, Teachers, and Students
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the community of Apalachee High School near Winder, GA who experienced the unimaginable last week on September 4th. At Bluffton High School, we work hard to build strong connections with all our students, so they know they are loved and cared for. We encourage our community to speak up when concerns arise and as a reminder, we have an app called StopIt which allows anonymous reporting that your child can access easily at any time through their ClassLink. We encourage you to have a conversation with your student about the importance of using their voice to be a great friend when they hear or read comments that someone may harm themselves or others. Thank you for all of your continued support of Bobcat Nation.
First quarter progress reports were emailed home last Friday. Parents can access the Powerschool Parent Portal at any time from our website and may email teachers directly from the Grades and Attendance page if needed.
Gentle reminder about timely pickup:
- Students must be picked up no later than 4:30 PM unless they are participating in a supervised activity or sport. This helps us manage the school grounds efficiently and ensures the safety of all students. We ask that students head home or proceed to their next scheduled event promptly.
- For our student-athletes, parents please pick them up outside of the gymnasium after practices and games. This will help ease traffic congestion and keep everyone safe.
This week is a spirit week and students are able to dress to the theme of each day. We would love to see everyone in the stands at our homecoming football game in Friday vs. Hampton County. Let's show our pride in Bobcat Nation!
