Reminder - All students must be enrolled for the 25-26 school year before they are permitted to try out and audition for extra curricular activities such as Warrior Worship, Cheer, Student Council, Advanced Theater. Same goes for sports for the 25-26 school year or any summer workouts.

This Wednesday, March 12th is Ministry Day! Early release is at noon for the secondary campus only! The elementary campus will dismiss at its regular time.

If you are driving yourself to Ministry Day on Wednesday, please make sure that you pick up a form from the office, and have it signed and turned in by Wednesday. The form is also posted below.

There is no school next week, March 17th-21st! Enjoy your Spring Break!

Gates Kitchen will not be serving lunch this week, March 10th-14th! The Taco Rey food truck will be on campus serving lunch on Tuesday and Thursday. Wednesday is Ministry Day. For Monday and Friday, lunch will be served by Ms. Frankie if the student filled out a form and ordered last week. Payments will be made through cash only when the child picks up their meal from Ms. Frankie.

Students who are interested in applying to be an LCA Ambassador should check their English Google classroom for the application.

The form to submit a service for auction at the spring Family Fun Night is also in Google Classroom. One day of free dress will be awarded to all students who submit an auction item, three days of free dress will be awarded to all students whose auction item earns at least $75 and the phalanx that earns the most money will have a pizza party at lunch on May 2.

Attention Seniors and Senior Parents:

Thank you to all of the senior/senior parents who have submitted your photos by the due date! For those seniors who have not, a second hard deadline of Monday March 17, 2025 has been set by our yearbook staff. Even though it is spring break, those photos must be emailed to djones@legacychristianacademy.org by this date. Thank you for your time and attention to this deadline. Help us finalize these yearbook memories.

Attention NHS applicants for next school year: Completed NHS applications must be turned in to Mrs. Currie March 14 by 3:30. No late submissions will be accepted.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post #1806 of Beaumont would like to invite and encourage 6-8th graders to participate in the "Illustrating America Contest", and 9-12th graders to participate in two art contests, "The Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest" and "The 3-Dimensional Patriotic Art Contest." If you are interested in participating in these contests, please contact Mrs. Duhon at mduhon@legacychristianacademy.org for more information and to pick up your entry form. Deadline is March 24th.

Cheer tryouts will take place on March 24-28th in the Dabney for those interested in being a part of the cheer team for next school year. For more information, there will be a parent meeting on March 10th in the Dabney at 3:30 pm or 6 pm. All participants must be registered for the 2025-2026 school year.

If you brought diapers and wipes for the Hope Clinic, you may wear free dress during the week of March 24-March 28.

There will be a mandatory senior meeting during lunch on Monday, March 10th in Mrs. Huynh's room.

Join us for the Legacy Athletic Booster Club meeting on Monday, March 10th at 6:30 PM in the Dabney Foyer. The Booster Club is open to all families of Legacy Christian Academy.

There is a mandatory parent meeting this Monday, March 10th at 3:30pm or 6pm in the Dabney gym for parents of those interested in being a cheerleader or mascot for next school year.

There is an Interact Club meeting Thursday, March 27th in Mrs. Turner's room during lunch.

The MS 3rd Annual Spring Fling dance will be March 14 from 6-8:30pm in the Dabney. Permission and dress code forms will go out soon. There is a $5 student entry fee and there will food/drinks/live DJ. Make plans to attend!

Our 9th graders are presenting their Project Based Learning Research Project on March 27th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Rec gym. We are inviting all parents to attend this event!

Anyone wanting to be considered for induction into the International Thespian Society should update their points with Mrs. Morgan prior to April 1st. After April 1st, you will have to wait another year to be considered.

All practice information will be available on your sport's Google calendar. You can find the instructions on how to subscribe below. Our Athletics Department has linked specific game schedules under each sport on our website. For example, if you are a high school girl who plays Volleyball, then you would navigate the Athletics section of our website, select High School, and then Volleyball, and under the Schedule dropdown, you will find your "Printable" Live Google Doc Game Schedule. The weekly game schedule is also available in the announcements below. Coaches will communicate through their avenues of choice if there are any changes. The easiest way to view practices and games is with our Legacy App. Make sure to check the calendars and game schedules often to stay up to date.

The updated dress code policy, which will take effect at the start of the 2025-2026 school year, is available. These changes have been carefully considered to maintain our school's values while ensuring practicality and comfort for our students.

The updated dress code policy includes:

• A simplified dress code for both elementary and secondary
• Chapel Dress uniform is no longer required and is now aligned with the daily uniform.
• As a senior privilege, seniors may wear Friday-approved attire every day of the week.

Printing for students is now limited. If a teacher cannot print for students during class, students will have to wait until tutorials (2:45 pm) to come to the office to print things.

• No printing allowed in the mornings

Library Days—All secondary students are allowed to visit the library on the elementary campus Tuesday and Thursday from 2:40 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Reminder - If books are checked out they need to be returned in a timely manner. .

Don't forget about the voluntary scripture memorization program that benefits the student and the school. You can read the attached letter for more information and also view the scripture list below.

Student's who are ready to recite the scripture please come by the office to set up a time to do so.
