Dr. Krueger and Board of Education Members Ed Bedient, Laura Sokol-Scott and Lorene Barulich educated our senior PIG students about how the Board of Education works. They learned the requirements for being on the board, the duties of the board members and how the board works. We thank Dr Krueger, Mr. Bedient, Mrs. Sokol-Scott and Mrs. Barulich for their time and efforts.

The day before break, faculty and staff hid over 700 plastic eggs to celebrate the upcoming break. Students started the hunt as soon as they entered the building at 7:20. Each egg had a small treat in it and if they found the golden ones, they hit a jackpot.

This month we participated in an international celebration to support all of our students, remind people to be kind, bring light to draw on when things seem dark and create safe spaces so students can thrive

We are so incredibly proud of Ms. Borowicz and Mr. Hart for all the hard work they have done to ensure success for our students.

Congratulations to Hope Hearn, who earlier this month, took part in the Erie 1 BOCES Fusion '25 Fashion Show. The show was held at Salvatore's Italian Gardens. Hope and her classmates created clothing acquired with the support of Good Will WNY.

The PTG has started its Senior Yard Sign Sale.

Show your pride and help your senior celebrate their accomplishment by placing a West Seneca East Senior Class of 2025 sign in your yard. Double-sided signs are $20 each and can be paid for with cash or check made payable to WS East Senior PTG and sent in to the school office or by PayPal paypal.me/eastseniorptg Signs will be available to pick up May 20 at the chicken BBQ or you can choose to have the sign delivered and placed in your yard around May 17. This month we had the exciting opportunity to speak with East Graduate, Luigi Collana.

Graduation: 2007

One memory I have from growing up in West Seneca: West Seneca has always been my home. One of my greatest memories is growing up with my siblings and knowing that we would be going to school together throughout the years. I always had someone to look up to and to help me with my homework when needed!

Dreams & Goals: My dream was to be a successful person like my dad. I wanted to have a family and travel the world. My goal was to focus on finishing high school and becoming an entrepreneur and taking the family business over and turning it into something bigger.

How does your career differ today from what you thought it would be then? I am happy with the career that I have and choices that I have made. I followed my dreams and with the help of my wife we have both built a bigger and stronger business and are still looking to build and pursue our dreams that we have.

A quote I will always remember from my high school agenda: "Find a job that you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."
