Spread the word to your students - Apply for Youth Advisory Council
GSBA's Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is now accepting applications for 2025, and we would love your help to spread the word to your students.
The YAC is a student leadership program formed by GSBA to give high school students the opportunity to provide meaningful input to school board members and aid them in their decision-making. In addition, YAC members will have the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and contribute to their community by affecting positive change for students across Georgia.
Applications are now open and will close April 18, 2025. This year, we're streamlining the application process from two steps to one. You can find more information on expectations, meeting dates, eligibility and more in our initial information document. The application link is also available on our website.
Please share the above information with your students - they could have the opportunity to represent your district at our 2025 Annual Conference in Atlanta!

Class of 2025 – Senior Information
Information about upcoming senior events, senior dues, and graduation information can be found on the NFHS website. Please click “Extracurricular” and then “Senior Class News”. You can also follow us for updates on Instagram @nfhs_seniors.
Senior Dues: This is a FINAL call for Senior Dues. All payments must be made online at https://www.3rdascent.com. The price has officially increased to $185 due to the late order fee. Dues cover the cost of the graduation cap/gown, diploma/diploma cover, senior breakfast, senior picnic, rental of the arena, and other special treats. Seniors will be able to pick up their cap/gown before the senior picnic on April 24th. If you are planning to participate in the graduation ceremony, you MUST pay senior dues.
Graduation Announcements: Graduation announcements are a long-held tradition, one that allows you to share your success with family and friends in a meaningful and lasting way. We offer custom announcements that feature your school’s official school crest, ensuring that your announcement is as unique as your accomplishment. Just like collegiate announcements, yours will be personally customized with your name, adding a personal touch to a tradition that has been passed down through generations.
We’ve also made the ordering process easier than ever by creating several packages designed to fit your needs. Of course, you can always add more items to make sure no one is left out of the celebration. From personalized announcements to keepsakes, you can ensure your graduation is marked with style and tradition. Once you place your order, your announcements will be shipped directly to your home with tracking information, so you can stay updated every step of the way.
How to Order:
- Scan the QR Code on the attached flyer, or
- Visit 3RDASCENT.com
- Select your school in the dropdown menu
- Click on the Graduation Announcement Order Link (featuring a picture of your announcement).
- Complete your order and get ready to share your exciting news!
Yard Signs: The PTSO is selling yard signs for our graduates. Please visit their page for more information: https://ga01000373.schoolwires.net/Page/51677
Graduation: Please note that graduation is on Tuesday, May 20th at 7PM at Gas South Arena. Once the portal for graduation announcements has opened, we will share that through the newsletter for families to order.
Senior Letters: We will be continuing our tradition of collecting senior letters for the Class of 2025. We will collect letters through April 25th, 2025, and they can be delivered to the front office or the counseling office. We encourage families to send a message to family, friends, and other influential people in your senior's life and encourage them to write a letter. Seniors will get the opportunity to open letters with their friends at the end of the year during a Senior Sunset event on May 8th.
