SJG Daily Update 4/3/2020 Edition

At 12:30 pm every Friday, the Pequannock Township Panther community will join together on their porches, front lawns, or open windows to give a big 2-minute ROAR for our community's essential workers. Students, parents, and community members are encouraged to stop and give thanks by clapping, playing instruments, and applauding our essential workers who continue to work diligently during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Panther Roar will be a message of appreciation for Police and First Responders, grocery store workers, truck drivers, restaurant workers, our amazing district teachers and staff, and for doctors, nurses, and workers at Chilton. The first Panther Roar will begin Friday, April 3rd at 12:30 pm and could become a Friday tradition.

We have a spirit themed week planned to continue to raise awareness and support inclusivity. Today, we send a virtual hug and wear blue and gold. Make sure that you send in your pictures! You can learn more at https://www.autismspeaks.org/.

Scheduling an Appointment for Tuesday (3/31) or Thursday (4/2) 9:00 - 2:00
If you wish to borrow or replace a device, you may sign up for a Tues./Thurs. appointment using one of the following calendar links. Appointments are scheduled at the High School, front entrance KIOSK, in 20-minute intervals to ensure appropriate social distancing. We will not be able to assist your technology needs without first scheduling an appointment.

Quick Tip, Try "Refreshing" The Chromebook Before Making An Appointment
Some of the older Chromebooks respond to being refreshed, especially if they're frozen.
To perform this action:

· Turn the Chromebook off

· Press the refresh button, above the number "4" on the Chromebook while also pressing the power-on button to restart the Chromebook. On most models the powerbutton is on the top, right, front of the keyboard front, on the Lenovo 300e model it is on the side.

· Your Chromebook will then turn on being refreshed.
