Weekly News - March 29, 2024
Middlebrook Families,
Last Friday evening our students and families gathered in the gym for a wildly successful night of Bingo. The prizes were outstanding and the excitement could be felt in the air as the first number was called. Thank you to all the behind the scenes work that occurred to provide this evening for our community.
Please remember that we do not have school on Friday, but we return ready to learn on Monday. On April 2, students do not report to school since our teachers will be attending professional development.
For those of you who celebrate the Easter holiday this upcoming weekend, we wish you a joyous occasion with those you love.
Best,
Ms. Demars, Interim Principal
Ms. Molloy, Assistant Principal
School Climate Survey
It's the time of the year when we would like to provide you with an opportunity to complete our School Climate Survey. This feedback from our families is integral in the district's effort to promote school improvement and educational accountability. The survey can be found by using the link, School Climate Survey and will be open until Friday, May 3, 2024. The survey results will be reviewed by our school-based leadership team, district leadership and the Board of Education to help guide our goals for the 2024-25 school year. Please know, your time and feedback are extremely valuable and greatly appreciated.

FINAL MILE
We would love for all Middlebrook kids to sign up for the Final Mile Event and join in the town wide fun. This event will take place on Sunday, May 19 at 9am at Trumbull High School. It is a fun event that encourages children to be active from now until then - children will be encouraged to work towards running 25.2 miles before May 19 and all the kids will come together at the end to run/walk the final mile together.
If your child does not run, that is no problem - walking, or any physical activity counts! (15 minutes of any physical activity can count for 1 mile!)
This is a great way to encourage healthy habits with friends! Each child that signs up will get a T-shirt and a medal on the day of the event. In addition, the participants will get a small keychain with charms to track their activities.
The entry fee is $10.00. You can register your child online via the membership toolkit using this link https://middlebrookelementarypta.membershiptoolkit.com/home
Registration opens today!
