It's our pleasure to invite you to the "How to Talk to Your Child on Abuse " event for the Elementary level on:

1. April 17 (English & Spanish, 6:30-7:30 PM) and

2. April 18 (Arabic & French 9:00-10:00 AM)

This presentation aims to empower parents and caregivers with information on how to educate their children about a sensitive subject to protect them from abusers.

Thank you to the Women's Center of Tarrant County for presenting to us for the second time. We also appreciate the parents who showed up and asked valuable questions.

Open to all families in Hurst, Euless and Bedford. Join tons of families for this PTA Connected: Ready, Tech, Go! workshop and find out!

During this educational event, parents and caregivers will:

1. Reflect on various aspects of screen readiness.

2. Become familiar with tools and resources that help families determine screen readiness and discuss digital life.

3. Gain new ideas to promote a healthy digital home.

Seats are limited. We will take our returned students first and fill the available seats on a first-come, first-served basis. If a returned student had poor attendance last year, we will add the student to the all-students list.

Congratulations to our 70 graduated students of the 2023 Class!

HEB ISD believes that student achievement for ALL students requires substantial family engagement opportunities. We also believe that families of bilingual, Emergent Bilingual (EB), and immigrant students need specialized engagement activities and strategies to overcome language obstacles on their family's educational journey. Family engagement and outreach services for these students and their families in these three groups are available using Title III funds. This newsletter is how we will communicate our activities and resource information. Check back frequently for updates throughout the year!
