July 12th, 2024
WOODZ is "Refuse"
Bradley, head of the Ryder Cup U.S. team
Keegan Bradley, who has six PGA Tour wins, will be the head of the U.S. team at next year's Ryder Cup.
The U.S. Professional Golf Association announced on the 9th (Korea time) that "Bradley was selected as the U.S. general manager for the 2025 Ryder Cup."
The Ryder Cup is a biennial competition between 12 players from the European Union and the U.S. The competition will take place in September next year at Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale, New York.
In the Ryder Cup, the head coach is responsible for the team's general managerial role. He is involved in matches and tactics of players. The U.S. team suffered a crushing defeat to the European team 11.5-16.5 at last year's championship. Bradley's resourcefulness has become important as he is trying to avenge his loss at next year's event that will take place at home.
Bradley won the final round of the PGA Championship at a major tournament in 2011 after a three-hole battle with Jason Duffner, setting the record of "winning his debut at a major tournament." He has six wins on the PGA Tour. He is nephew Pat Bradley who entered the Hall of Fame with 31 career wins on the LPGA Tour.안전토토사이트
Bradley also played in the Ryder Cup as a player in 2012 and 2014.
Tiger Woods, the "golf emperor," was initially mentioned as the most likely candidate for the U.S. team's general manager. Woods has participated in eight Ryder Cups and has also been a vice-captain.
However, Woods declined the position. According to Golf Week, Woods declined the position on the grounds that he was not sure if he wanted the position because he is a board member of the PGA Tour and the newly launched PGA Tour Enterprise.
