We hope you have enjoyed your long weekend. PTA started talent show auditions last week and students have one more chance to try out this upcoming Monday. Mark your calendars for our big show on Friday, May 16th.

This week we will host a Testing Rally for our students in third through fifth grade. We want to get our students excited about trying their best on the test. State testing will begin next week, see below for the specific dates.

We have two sprirt days this week! On Wednesday we have a spirt day for Autism Acceptance. Celebrate neuro-diversity by wearing tie dye or rainbow colors! We also have twin day on Friday. We cannot wait to everyone's outfits.

Parents, please be advised that students will take state testing, or CAASPP, starting next week. All students in grades 3-5 will take tests in the areas of English Language Arts and Math. Fifth graders will also take the CAST, testing their science knowledge. There are links below for parents to learn more information about the tests and to view practice tests.

Students in grades 3-5 will be testing on the following dates in the morning. We ask that you plan accordingly when setting up morning appointments and we encourage all students to be on time each and every day!

May 13-14- 5th Grade Science Only

In-Person Summer School Priority Registration closes on April 20. Anyone who registers after that date will be placed on a waitlist.
If you're planning to take summer school classes, please register as soon as possible.

Every year at Santa Susana we use the Core Values program. We discuss a value each month and use this as part of our Student of the Month program. This month our value is HOPE.

The Samaritan Center has a New Flyer

Still Waters Cafe continues to serve as our local food pantry.

A food pantry is also held in Moorpark at Moorpark College on Tuesdays from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.
