Glen Rock BOE Highlights

May 8th, 2023

The Board of Education accepted, with regret, the resignation for the purpose of retirement for the following individuals:

Irene Pierides - Hamilton Elementary Principal
Kathy Ryan - Confidential Secretary to the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds

The BOE thanks Ms. Pierides and Ms. Ryan for their service to our students, staff, schools and community and wishes them both a long, healthy and rewarding retirement.

The Board of Education appointed and welcomed the following staff to tenure track positions for the 2023-2024 school year.

Valerie Avendano - High School Science Teacher
Lindsay Corbett - Special Services LDTC
Cameron Lucca - Central School Elementary Teacher
Richard Plattel - High School Science Teacher

The Board of Education held a public hearing and then approved the 2023-2024 budget.
