TBS Tiger Newsletter
December 2024
Dear Three Bridges School Families,
As we welcome the month of December, I am filled with pride and gratitude for the continued dedication of our students, staff, and families. This time of year provides us with opportunities to reflect on our growth, celebrate our achievements, and strengthen the connections that make our school community so special.
One highlight this month has been the "Paws for Peace" Buddy Activity, where students across grade levels partnered to engage in activities centered around our character word of the month: perseverance. It was inspiring to watch older students mentor their younger peers as they worked together on challenges that encouraged creative problem-solving, teamwork, and persistence. This activity not only reinforced the importance of perseverance but also strengthened the bonds within our Three Bridges family.
As we head into the winter season, I want to emphasize the importance of building strong academic habits at home. Please encourage your child to practice their math fact fluency daily, as this foundational skill supports their confidence and success in mathematics. Additionally, setting aside time each evening for reading strengthens comprehension, vocabulary, and a lifelong love of learning. Consistency in these areas will benefit your child greatly.
Let us also take this time to ensure our children stay consistent with their routines, both academically and personally, as perseverance is a skill we can all continue to grow.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership in making Three Bridges School a wonderful place for our students to learn and thrive. Wishing you all a joyful and peaceful holiday season.
Warm regards,
Dr. Higgins
