Can you believe that quarter 1 is already behind us? Our kiddos did their best, so please find in the mail this week their report card to review grades, and community skills. Let's start this new quarter with kiddos on time for class with breakfast at 8:20am and class promptly starting at 9:00am. Thank you all for assisting our scholars to be their best learning selves for life!
We had many events going on last week from Dena'ina class to Project GRAD Family Night to Hydroponic planting! Thank you all for partnering with our students and staff in assisting with learning in all ways as every opportunity is always an amazing discovery.
In our ongoing commitment to prioritize the health and well-being of our students and staff, we want to inform you about our KPBSD Symptom-Free Protocol. This protocol is designed to create a safer environment for everyone by minimizing the risk of the spread of illnesses. We kindly request that you ensure your child is symptom-free before sending them to school each day. This includes checking for common symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, and difficulty breathing. If your child exhibits any of these symptoms or has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for an infectious illness, we strongly encourage you to keep them at home, and consult with the clinic. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter, as the collective efforts of our school community are crucial in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all.
Remindar to parents and guardians to please update your child(ren)'s information and permissions or new/ returning students for the 2024-2025 school year! Please follow this link to update:-)
Are you interested in making a positive impact on a Tebughna school scholar? Please consider volunteering in our school and look to the following link for safeguards required: https://kpbsd.org/departments/assistant-superintendent/instructional-services/hr/volunteer/
The Safe School Helpline is provided to allow students, parents and community members the ability to confidentially submit report threats of violence, suicide, bullying or illegal activity that impact KPBSD schools, students, or staff. This service provides users the opportunity to leave a message or speak with a live crisis counselor for immediate needs. The helpline is administered by an independent, outside company. All communications remain private, confidential, and anonymous.
