AE Item Drive
Third grade students at AE are currently learning a song called "Share Your Goodwill" for their winter program. In talking with students about the meaning of the song, one student mentioned not having to wait until the holidays to share their goodwill - they could start now by helping hurricane victims. This gave us an idea...
Over the next two weeks, AE will support a blanket, glove/mitten, winter hat, and small stuffed animal drive to support victims of Hurricane Helene. These will be packed, along with other items from AE students, and sent to families in Rutherford County, North Carolina. We hope that you will join us in showing our goodwill to this community in need!
A preview of the song that sparked this thoughtful idea can be found below.
Secondary Building Wall of Fame
We’re thrilled to share that we’ve installed two “Wall of Fame” touchscreen TVs in the Gallery Hallway at the Secondary School, showcasing our students’ achievements in athletics and extracurricular activities, both past and present. This feature will also enable us to publish this information on our website, making it accessible to a wider audience. Although the site is still a work in progress, we wanted to update the community on our efforts and invite you to contribute any additional information you’d like us to include. Annville-Cleona Youth Wrestling
Annville-Cleona Youth Wrestling will have elementary wrestling open gyms on November 5th and 12th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the high school. This will be a good opportunity for anyone considering wrestling this year to come out and try it before signing up. It is also for anyone returning to wrestle again to get a couple of workouts in before the season starts. Parents should come to the front doors by the auditorium to get into the school.
If you would like to sign your child up for wrestling, please use the link found here. Forms can also be found outside of the main office!

Student Spotlight
At AE we love to celebrate our students! On Friday, Mrs. Hoover got to make a positive phone call home for this third grader. The joy that this small gesture brought this young man was contagious. We can't wait to engage in more opportunities like this to celebrate hard work!
Mrs. Popejoy's third grade class is learning about multiplication fact families. Here, they are using "Array City" to practice these facts!
Mrs. Uhrich's fourth graders work as a team! They share their learning, support one another, and give feedback to further their growth. It is incredible to watch them in action. We can't wait to see what they accomplish throughout the year together!
It was lovely seeing so many families at A-C's Annual Craft Show! It was especially exciting to catch two of our students, Melody and Evelyn, hosting a booth of their own!
