Disney 2026 Survey
Everyone - please click the link below to fill out a survey regarding the 2026 trip to Disney during Spring Break. It's critical we get this information for planning purposes and to get approved fundraising opportunities!
The trip will likely cost over $2,000 (especially if we fly) and will happen during spring break 2026.
Once approved, fundraising opportunities will be available. All band and marching band members can attend.
Private Lessons
Did you know that you can take private lessons during the school day!?! This can be such a relief when it comes to scheduling private lessons. All you have to do is contact Mr. M, let him know you're interested in private lessons during class and he will help take care of the rest!
Instrument Repair
If you are renting an instrument from Dakota, all instrument repairs must be approved by Mr. M before they go to the shop. This process is necessary when determining if something is broken from "wear and tear" or misuse. Repairs are sent in on Monday and Wednesday morning. That means, repairs need to be submitted on Friday or Tuesday.
Shout Outs
Thank you to all the parents that helped the Marching Band during their festival preparations and performance this past Tuesday! The Marching Band walked away with their 8th consecutive 1st division rating. Also, congratulations to Evan Adamski on being recognized as the Homecoming King! Evan is a talented musician, intelligent student, and kind human to those he interacts with! We are thrilled for him and the band members who were also nominated.
Note From The Assistants
Please note that Marching Band Rehearsal on Wednesday, October 16th (This Wednesday!!!) has been changed to 5:30-8:30 to ensure that everyone can make it on time due to virtual school. 🙂

Note From Mr M
It's a busy week for the band program! Make sure to keep up with the calendar and announcements.
Also, a friendly reminder as we approach our first concert. Do your homework (practice your part). There's only one opportunity to perform the music we are about to display. It's important that each student feels confident in their ability to play it! This comes with a dedicated practice schedule. Parents, check in with your child prior to the concert next week to see how prepared they are and what they did in preparation for this concert. If we all relied on Mr. M to rehearse us to perfection, it won't be perfect! Practicing includes -
- Know as much about the music as possible before the performance
- Be familiar with the other parts of the piece
- Have a list of things to improve on during practice
- Make sure you're part is numbered and filled with notes from Mr. M
Parents, get your tickets!
