Meet the Principal!
Back-to-School 2024-2025
Hello, CES Families!
I am Cynthia Huff, the new principal of Central Elementary School and I am beyond elated to be chosen as your new leader. The past two years at CES has been by far, the best two years of my career as a 26-year veteran educator! During my time as assistant principal, I can truly say that I have grown tremendously in all areas and I am ready to accept the challenge as the new principal.
My experience includes 15 years of classroom instruction ranging from 1st grade to 8th grade. My love for books inspired me to become a school librarian. I served as the Library Media Specialist for five years with TCS. Prior administrators inspired me to further my studies in Instructional Leadership because of the skills and personality traits that I possess. For the past six years, I have worked as an assistant principal with Tuscaloosa City Schools with the last two at CES. I have met many of you and would love to hear from you about how we can strengthen the home-school partnership. I am open for any suggestions that will benefit the future of our girls and boys here at Central Elementary School.
We are claiming a great year for CES! 🙌
