Weekly Information, Pictures, and More!
Week 3
As we wrap up Week 3 of the school year, we are pleased to share some highlights and important updates from our vibrant school community:
Academic Advancements: This week, students delved into new subject matter with enthusiasm. Teachers and students are utilizing the FlexBlock with gusto. We encourage you to check in with your child about their current studies and upcoming assignments.
Extracurricular Success: Our clubs and sports teams are off to a fantastic start. The Science Club held an engaging workshop on renewable energy, while the Drama Club has been busy with rehearsals for their fall production. Don’t miss the chance to support their efforts at the upcoming performances and events.
Back to School Knight: Thank you to all who attended our recent Back to School Knight. It was a great opportunity to meet your student's teachers and learn about their classes. If you were unable to attend, please reach out to your student's teachers to connect with them. If you missed the opening presentation, you can review the information shared here.
Upcoming Health Opportunity: On October 16th, 2024, there will be two dental hygienists coming in to perform dental care on students. Students must sign up by October 2, 2024. Please select the appropriate permission form; available in English, Haitian Creole, and Portuguese. Forms are also available in the nurse's office . This is a wonderful service that is of NO COST to the students or their families. The hygienists do cleaning, fluoride treatments, check for decay and cavities and help with recommendations for services in the area. They also return in the spring to follow up with the students that signed up. It is a wonderful service the school offers.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement. Together, we are making this school year a great success!
