Message from Principals
May was such a fun month! Our students went on a variety of field trips, we hosted donuts with grown-ups, celebrated our teachers during teacher appreciation week, and more! We loved being able to recognize our students at our fourth quarter awards assemblies as well as our kindergarten and fifth grade celebrations. Our talent shows gave students the opportunity to demonstrate their amazing abilities, and career day helped our students look ahead to what skills they might want to develop in the future!
This summer we will continue our mobile book tour at Randall Wobbe and The Heights on Oak Apartments every Monday. In addition, select current 2nd-5th graders will participate in our Mallard University CAT Camp June 4th-6th. We will welcome our new kindergarten students for Kindergarten Jumpstart the week of July 29th, and we look forward to seeing all of our students back on Thursday, August 8th for Open House.
Our school board has approved the academic calendar for the 2024-2025 school year. It can be found at the bottom of this newsletter. We hope you find it helpful in planning for next school year. We are so thankful for an amazing year with our students and families and hope you all have a FUN and SAFE summer!

Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year has opened! You can visit www.registration.sdale.org to register your child. We look forward to meeting our future mallards!
Monitor Summer Book Tour
Starting June 3rd, come get a FREE lunch {all children birth thru 18 years} and a book on Mondays this summer all provided from our partners at First Church Springdale. We will be visiting Randall Wobbe apartments and The Heights on Oak apartments each week. We look forward to seeing our students and families!
