2025-2026 Parent Input Form
Form Closes April 30th
You may use this form to share information with us to consider when placing students in classes for next year.
Please remember that you may not use this form to request a specific teacher. We also do not consider previous teachers of older siblings when creating classes, as all students have different needs including siblings. We take each child’s academic and social emotional profile into account when determining placement. Since teachers participate in the placement process, please refrain from referencing negative experiences or your form will not be considered. Similarly, while there are occasions when it is necessary to ensure particular students not be placed together, we ask you to keep your peer requests to a minimum.
As always, we do value your input. Due to shifting enrollment projections, staff changes, and other factors, we are not always able to honor all requests.
Please complete just one form per child. If needed, refresh the google form link to start the form for a second child.
We will consider all submissions before April 30th, as we begin planning classes thereafter.

Parent Events
Spring time brings an abundance of opportunities for parents to visit their child's class and celebrate their learning. Please respect that these events are planned for parents and non-school age children only. Space limitations do not allow us to include other siblings here at New Leb, nor is it ideal for siblings to miss instruction.
The one exception is moving up and graduation ceremonies as they are milestone occasions.
Thank you!

Math Book of the Month
Math Book of the Month: Double the Ducks
Max visits his grandmother's farm where six ducks live in the pond. One morning, Grandma tells Max exciting news: more ducks are arriving today, and the duck population will double. Max needs to help prepare for the new arrivals.
"If we have six ducks now and the number doubles, how many will we have?" Grandma asks. Max thinks carefully and realizes they'll have twelve ducks total. Together, they prepare by doubling everything the ducks need.
Max helps count out twice as much duck food. They expand the duck pond area to make it twice as large. Max even helps build additional shelters, making sure they have twice as many as before.
When the truck arrives with the new ducks, Max counts as they waddle to join the original six. He proudly confirms they now have exactly twelve ducks. Grandma praises Max for understanding doubling and helping prepare the farm perfectly.
As evening falls, Max watches all twelve ducks swimming happily in their pond, feeling satisfied that he used math to solve a real-world problem and help his grandmother.
Our Byram Campus
We are proud to work closely with Mr. Miguel, our local librarian, who lovingly refers to the school and library as "The Byram Campus." As the weather gets warmer families are encouraged to enjoy campus grounds after school - including the playground, library, and field.
We need parents to help support a positive school culture by supervising your children and reinforcing our school norms around the perimeter of the school after hours:
Be Safe
Be Honest
Care for Yourself and Others
When necessary, Let Go and Move On
