POSITIVITY PROJECT
This Week: Other People Mindset
This coming week's character strength is "Other People Mindset - Knowing My Words and Actions Affect Others" Within this strength our goal is to understand that everything you say or do can help or hurt others, as well as your relationships with them.

THANK YOU, HEPTO!
At Highland Elementary we are so grateful for the partnership with HEPTO (Highland Elementary PTO). Our parent group plays a crucial role in enhancing our students' education through organizing school community events, raising vital funds, providing assemblies, helping fund field trips, hosting our fun run, and providing classroom stipends to each classroom to support teachers in providing innovative learning opportunities and experiences for our students. Recently HEPTO hosted a fun run reward week for all of our students filled with spirit days, fun activities each day, a McDonald’s night, and exciting rewards. We are proud that HEPTO plans many school-wide incentives and opportunities that foster working towards goals as a school team, and celebrating with rewards for all. Highland Elementary is so fortunate to have strong parent partnerships and family commitment to our entire school community.
Congratulations to our HOUNDS OF THE MONTH!
TRADING CARDS
Please help remind your children that all trading cards should be kept at home. There have been some that have made their way into school and they have caused several issues. We thank you for your support and partnership.
LHS SHOE DRIVE
Lakeland High School, Class of 2025 is doing a fundraiser to help pay for their
Senior Prom. It’s a shoe drive fundraiser. Through their partnership with the nonprofit,
Funds2Orgs, they are hoping to collect more than 5,000 pounds of gently worn, used and new
shoes to support micro enterprise vendors in developing nations. During this special season of
giving, their goal is to give back, while raising money for their prom. There is a box for gently worn shoes to be donated for anyone interested in the front entrance.
